Having been a primary school teacher for the majority of my career, with a personal passion for anything tech, I have always had a side-hustle in virtual assistant roles. Over the years, I have been grateful to work with many small businesses to help with a wide range of computer based needs: from social media content to copy writing, website redesigns to graphic publications, I have loved being able to utilise my creative skills to the max!

During Lockdown, I was driven to upskill myself further and completed the full set of Google and Apple training modules available and am proud to be part of these tech communities, frequently supporting online. Being a teacher, I have also delivered multiple training courses in a variety of scenarios – face-to-face, online, 1:1, small group and lecture size. Last year, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to take a career break from the classroom and move into a role which is more aligned with my passion – communications! Working as a Comms Officer has opened up a new world of “office life” which is extremely rewarding.

However…in my crazy brain, there is always space for designing!
